Refund Policy

How CreatorGuard reviews cancellations, service issues, credits, and refund requests.

Effective: August 26, 2026

CreatorGuard aims to resolve confirmed service problems fairly. Refunds are reviewed based on the work completed, the agreed scope, the reason for the request, and any non-refundable third-party costs.

1. Before work begins

If you cancel a paid service before meaningful work has started, you may request a full or partial refund. Any non-refundable payment processor fees or third-party charges may be deducted when permitted by law.

2. After work has started

Once work has begun, a refund is not automatically guaranteed. CreatorGuard may offer a correction, replacement, service credit, partial refund, full refund, or another reasonable solution depending on the situation.

3. Situations that may qualify for a refund or credit

  • CreatorGuard is unable to provide the paid service after accepting the order.
  • A delivered service materially fails to match the confirmed scope and CreatorGuard cannot reasonably correct it.
  • You were charged more than once for the same order by mistake.
  • A confirmed CreatorGuard error caused the service to become unusable and a reasonable correction is not possible.

4. Situations that normally do not qualify

  • You change your mind after substantial work has been completed.
  • A third party makes an unfavorable decision, including Roblox, Discord, PayPal, Stripe, a bank, a government office, or another platform.
  • A takedown, refund, dispute, chargeback, or registration request is denied or delayed by a third party.
  • The result was affected by inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or late information supplied by the client.
  • You request work outside the agreed scope after delivery.
  • You stop responding after CreatorGuard has already performed substantial work.

5. Third-party and government fees

Government filing fees, platform charges, processor fees, taxes, independent lawyer or law-firm fees, professional review fees, and other third-party costs are generally not refundable by CreatorGuard once they have been paid or become non-recoverable. Any refund involving those fees depends on the rules of the outside organization.

6. Corrections first when reasonable

If a problem can reasonably be corrected, CreatorGuard may first offer to fix the work before issuing a refund. This helps resolve formatting, missing information, file, or scope issues without restarting the entire service.

7. How to request a refund

Open a CreatorGuard support ticket or contact escalations@creatorproof.ca. Include your case number, service name, payment information, and a clear explanation of the issue.

Do not open a chargeback solely to avoid contacting CreatorGuard about a correctable service issue. A chargeback does not remove either party's right to provide relevant records to the payment processor.

8. Review process

Refund requests are reviewed using the ticket history, agreed scope, delivered work, payment records, and communications. CreatorGuard may ask for additional information before making a decision.

9. Dispute resolution first

Where legally permitted, clients agree to give CreatorGuard a reasonable opportunity to review and attempt to resolve a service dispute before beginning formal legal proceedings. Contact escalations@creatorproof.ca with the case number and relevant records. This does not restrict any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

10. Consumer rights

This policy does not remove any refund, cancellation, or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
