Privacy & Data Requests
How CreatorGuard handles client-submitted files, case information, and deletion requests.
Effective: August 26, 2026
CreatorGuard handles client-submitted information to provide support services, maintain service records, prevent abuse, and respond to client requests.
1. Information you may provide
Depending on the service, you may submit Discord account information, project files, screenshots, evidence, payment records, agreements, ownership information, contact details, or other materials necessary to complete the request.
2. Sensitive copyright information
Copyright registration assistance may require legal owner, author, contact, address, or filing information. These requests should be handled only by authorized CreatorGuard staff.
3. How information is used
Information may be used to provide the requested service, communicate with you, organize case records, prepare deliverables or submissions, process payments, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, and improve service operations.
4. Controlled access
CreatorGuard aims to limit sensitive client information to staff who need access for the request. Client materials may be stored using internal systems or trusted third-party services used for hosting, communication, payment, backup, or file organization.
5. What you should not send
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, recovery codes, private access tokens, or banking login credentials. If you believe you accidentally exposed account credentials, secure the affected account immediately.
6. Deletion requests
You may request deletion of eligible client-submitted materials, including files, screenshots, evidence, project materials, documents, and ticket attachments. Submit the request through a support ticket or email support@creatorproof.ca.
7. Information that may need to be retained
CreatorGuard may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for payment records, accounting, fraud prevention, security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, enforcement of service terms, or other legitimate business purposes.
8. Records controlled by other organizations
CreatorGuard cannot delete records controlled by Roblox, Discord, payment processors, banks, government offices, copyright registries, or other outside organizations. Their own privacy and retention rules apply to information they hold.
9. Your backups
Keep your own copies of important materials. CreatorGuard should not be treated as your only long-term storage or backup provider.
10. Independent professional review
When a client requests, approves, or reasonably expects an independent legal or professional review as part of the service, CreatorGuard may share relevant client materials with an independent lawyer, law firm, or other professional. CreatorGuard will limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary for that review and may request express authorization before sharing sensitive materials.
The independent professional may have their own privacy, confidentiality, retention, and professional obligations. Records controlled by that outside professional are not directly controlled by CreatorGuard.
